2007 Call for symposia

Suggestions for Symposia for the 2007 MRDS meeting at Clare College, Cambridge, England (5th-8th Sep) are now welcomed. Please email them to Rik Henson (rik.henson@mrc-cbu.cam.ac.uk).

Please provide a title, the name of the organiser, and list of 4-6 potential speakers and titles (from whom you should already have sought confirmation; preferably with a good balance of male/female, junior/senior).

Following the discussion that took place at Toronto, below are some further guidelines for symposia:

1. The "1:1" rule: talks will be limited to a max of X=15 mins, plus X mins for questions.
2. The "3:1" rule: each symposium should have no more than one non-member speaker.

As in the past, the plan is for 4-6 symposia, plus Data Blitz and Open Paper session. Calls for the latter will come later.

The deadline for symposia proposals is March 30th.
